Where do I sign?

Uploading your signature is a very important task in setting up a new Simplexam account or adding new users. Having your signature uploaded in Simplexam ensures that your signature will be added to applicable generated documents, proof of service forms, etc. Ready to sign on the line? Here's how:

Upload Your Signature

  1. Click Settings on the left side bar.

  2. On the Account Settings tab, your name should be filled in. You can update it if needed.

  3. County should be filled in to indicate where you are signing your documents. If it is empty, enter the county where you work.

  4. Upload Signature: In order to upload your signature, you will need to already have a signature file on your computer to upload (see figure 1 below).

    1. If already have a signature file on your computer, click the Upload button.

      1. In the pop up, either drag your file into the Drag and Drop rectangle, or click on the blue Upload from your computer button to find your file (see figure 2 below).

      2. Once you have it, click Save

      3. On the next screen you should see your signature. Drag the dashed rectangle box to fit your signature inside of it and click Apply. If it does not fit, you may need to create a new signature file. (see figure 3 below).

      4. You should now see your signature in the small box below a remove button (see figure 4 below). If it looks good to you, click Save and you're all done. If it doesn't, you can try the above process again, or proceed to the process in Step B below.

    2. If you do not already have your signature on your computer, or if the process in Step A did not work for you, Simplexam signature experts recommend the following process for creating a new signature file.

      1. Find a blank piece of paper.

      2. Write your signature nice and big on the page.

      3. Take a picture of your signature, making sure you have a good wide image with a 4:1 width to height ratio.

      4. Send the picture of your signature to your email address so that you can download it onto your computer.

      5. Find the signature file in your email and save it to your computer.

      6. Go back to Step A above to upload your signature file into Simplexam.

1. Settings > Signature > Upload.
2. Find and attach signature file from your computer.
3. Place signature inside rectangle.
4. Saved signature.
